Please consider voting early from home for the November 3rd general election. The polling place in North Bennington will be closed due to coronavirus risks, and it is highly encouraged to vote by mail if you are able.
Here are the steps:
Keep an eye out for your mail ballot- All active registered voters will be mailed a ballot between September 21st and October 1st. If you are not yet registered to vote, or if you would like to check your registration status, you can do so at the Secretary of State’s website. You can also ask any voting related questions by calling the Bennington Town Clerk at (802)-442-1043.
Make an Informed Decision – In addition to state representatives, you will also be electing candidates for governor, lieutenant governor, and more. With a mail ballot, you can take more time to research candidates and make informed decisions.
Mail your Ballot before October 24th – You can also return your ballot to the Bennington Town Clerk’s Office any time between now and the day before the election. The sooner the better. Talk to your friends, and encourage them to vote as well!
If you need to vote in person, the polls at the Bennington Fire House, on River Street, will be open on Tuesday, November 3rd. If you choose to vote in person, please stay safe and wear a mask!
Looking Forward,
Dane Whitman
Candidate for Vermont House of Representatives
Bennington, District 2-1
